    Fabulous

Staff friendly and accommodating. Relaxed atmosphere. Would like to send apologies for not putting dirty linen in bin. Left early forgot till later that evening - miles away then.

    Superb

My friend and I were attending a wedding in Stratford and needed to check in early. The staff at the youth hostel could not have been more helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble.

    Fabulous

There was a friendly atmosphere and it enabled our whole family, including 2 babies, to stay together. Staff were all helpful. The choice of self-catering or using the restaurant on site was useful. Facilities were excellent value for money.

It was a warm evening and all the rooms were hot - it was difficult to open windows enough to moderate the temperature. Not something that happens often in the uk!

    Very good

Staff were great and very helpful. Good facilities with breakfast and dinner options and a bar all on site. The room and shared bathroom facilities were very clean.

The room was very basic and the furniture and furnishings rather old and past it but I think this was reflected in the room rate

    Fabulous

Excellent for individuals or families on a budget. Self catering facities good. Room basic but clean. Staff very helpful.

    Superb

Excellent value for money and far far nicer than my distant memories of youth hostels. The old sheet sleeping bags have been replaced by sheets and duvets. Very friendly and helpful staff. Massive breakfast available at excellent price. The evening buffet seemed a bit expensive. Didn't bother with either as a self-catering kitchen is also available.

was booking for a family room as I have a 3 year old and an 18 month old child.. We were given a 2 bunk bed room... had to sleep on the floor as the children are not safe to sleep on the bunk beds.. not impressed.

The bathrooms were clean and nice.

When I booked the hostel, they give a price but when I arrived they charged us more money because we were not members. I found this unforgettable, they must put the real price and then do the discount for members. I will never go back to this hostel and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If I book a hostel and they send the price they must respect it. The hostel does not worth the price.

    Fabulous

Staff were very friendly and the location was great. The breakfast was good for the price.

Other guests were quite noisy until late, well past midnight. I had a child in bed and the noise woke us both. It was a shame as the place was great otherwise.

    Fabulous

A great base for a cycling event I rode on the morning after my stay - the staff kindly allowed me to leave my car and luggage at the hostel while I rode the event and allowed me to return afterwards for a shower and refreshments. There was also the chance to meet other cyclists for a chat and a drink at the local.

It was a basic, comfortable stay for my purposes of visiting two theatres and seeing friends. The breakfasts were very nice.
